Introduction

The Virtual Reference Shelf is a list of electronic reference books arranged in call number order, as they would be if they were print reference books and sitting on a shelf in the library.  Because the library has access to a large number of electronic reference books in a wide variety of electronic resources these pages were developed to bring them all together in one place.

Titles with multiple "copies" are found in more than one electronic resource.  These copies will be listed one at a time.

Titles with multiple volumes may be listed under one link, or under a separate link for each volume - it simply depends on how the electronic resource gateway deals with the title.

Book covers are shown when available, but only for the first copy or volume.
