CJUS 4370: Critical Issues in Criminal Justice: CJUS 4370

Course Description

This course examines specific issues that linger and new issues that arise within the criminal justice system. Issues that linger include such topics as: the death penalty; discretion in the use of force; female employment in policing; and racial profiling.  More recent issues that have arisen and that require inquiry by professionals and students include: internet fraud; identity theft; use and limits of forensic science; and the globalization of crime.
